Responsibilities:

As an AMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining assigned Tubular Running Services equipment, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications
  • Performing routinely welds, paints and refurbishes equipment.
  • Servicing the handling tools, loading and unloading the shipping containers, washing the equipment returned from location.
  • Inspecting / painting of the equipment pre-load out and conducting mechanical inspections.
  • Completing, inspecting and distributing all quality records to ensure 100% trace-ability
  • Entering data in SAP / MAPS / AMO work center or transmit the required data to the AMO support specialis

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Technical diploma in Mechanical bias would be preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes
  • Have experience and ability to troubleshoot faults.
  • Have a basic level of analytical ability to fault find technical problems and identify potential solutions.
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in English
  • Be able to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly printouts, and parts lists, and follow formal and service procedure
