Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator, who is highly motivated to join our fast paced department. This key role will provide high quality, comprehensive administrative support to the Anaesthetic Department as PA.
To operate at the highest level of discretion sometimes on sensitive patient-related information.
Supporting the Anaesthetic Department Support Manager with the Anaesthetic Staffing Rota, including day to day changes
Recording absence
Taking minutes of departmental meetings
Responding to telephone and email queries
Booking clinic appointments, typing clinic letters and other clinic admin
Good general IT skills including all Microsoft Packages
Working knowledge of Oasis
Flexible approach to tasks – able to manage competing demands and prioritise effectively
Excellent organisational skills
Knowledge of surgical pathways would be an advantage – would suit some-one with surgical secretarial background
