Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Anaesthetic Assistant Service comprises of RN’s, EN’s and Technicians. RPAH runs a 24-hour service; however, the majority of surgery is performed Monday through Friday. Shift staffing numbers are dependent on the number of theatre sessions running. There is also an on-call component to the role in order to cover general, radiology, cardiothoracic and liver transplant services. Shifts vary from 6, 8, 10 and 12 hours.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Applicants must have experience working in Irish or UK acute healthcare settings.
- A qualified nurse with a postgraduate qualification in Anaesthetic Nursing.
- AHPRA Registered.
