KNOWLEDGE:

Imports and Exports operations Technical knowledge on Customs Mexican Laws Medium knowledge on IMMEX program Intermediate or advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas) Intermediate level of English is required. Problem solving and decision-making tools and techniques. Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking, moderation and negotiation) Project management skills, tools and techniques. Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Primary Purpose of the Position Maintain the Customs Compliance area with the proper processes according with Mexican Customs Law (Imports and Exports Operations, Free trade agreements, Validation of pediments, customs files). Monitoring all the time the import-export activities, strong communication and daily interaction with Broker, government agencies, other Goodyear local and outside partners. Focus on the controls and KPIs established for the area and be able to attend internal and externals Customs revisions / audits.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Responsibilities Validate and approve the information declared by the Customs Broker in the import and export pediments to avoid mistakes in information on Annex 19 and all current and applicable regulations. Integration and review of customs files Imports and Exports and validate vs Data Stage to confirm that the company has 100% of customs files. Analysis of applicable free trade agreements, rules or origin, elaboration of Certificates of Origin in the Systems of the Customs Authorities and identify the opportunities to reduce the impact of duties. Conciliations with the Finance department for taxes paid in pediments and purchases of fixed assets. Generate reports, KPI’s that demonstrate compliance with established requirements.
