JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a Japanese company that provides a range of comprehensive financial products and services. They are currently hiring an Analyst / Associate Director to join their expanding team!
Team under: International Business Planning Team

【What you will be working on】

• Monitoring for existing investment(around 10 companies)
• In consultation with the Regional Head Office, to monitor and report for each company in their Private Equity investments which are located in India and South East Asia region.
• Arrange proper works when Asia Oceania regional management decides to exit the investment
• Communicate with each company, analyze information, and gather related information from the public (This will be a main Daily task)

For examples
✓ Brief details of the board meeting / the shareholder meeting beforehand to relevant senior management
✓ Prepare presentation slides about the results of the board meeting / the shareholder meeting.
✓ Make a presentation for the monitoring committee of each company as requested by Asia Oceania regional management
✓ Brief report when each company has a corporate action or release/news that affects our investment performance significantly.
✓ Evaluate the business performance of each company.

REQUIREMENT

【 What they are looking for 】

(Must)

• At least 2 years of working experience in investment management roles in the financial industry or private equity firms.
• Minimum Degree holder in Business (Academic background in investment management would be ideal)
• Meets any of the following conditions:

. At least 2 years of working experience in the investment banking field (M&A valuation, accounting, legal)

. At least 2 years of working experience in subsidiary management in the Head office.

• Professional mindset with a high sense of responsibility toward making a profit through investment activity
• Strong attitude towards learning new things beyond his/her comfort zone
• Business level of English
• Able to travel overseas (Area: India, Vietnam, Philippines etc.. Frequency: 1time half a year)
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

(Preferable)

• Be able to join April, but not a must

• Work independently but be able to make timely reports as necessary (report to Manager in SG and Regional Head in HK. remote reporting )
