Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must be bilingual, French and English
- Degree in accounting, human resources or related field.
- Experience in payroll processing
- Understanding of pension plans and their administration.
- Knowledge of Canadian tax, labor laws and regulations.
- Problem solving and customer service skills.
- Proficient in payroll software ( ADP workforce now) and Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities:
- Managing all payroll related activities for Canada Salaried employees ( 150 active employees – 325 Retirees )
- Manage contributions to retirement plans, insurance and other employees benefits.
- Ensure that tax withholdings are made in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Manage and resolve payroll issues and questions
- Prepare reports on payroll expenses.
- Maintain payroll records and employees information up to date.
- Act as liaison with the internal and external auditors. Work closely with Belden’s designated consultants for all pension plans and benefits related projects.
- Support the management of Belden’s short-term and long-term incentive plans, including documentation, internal controls, administration, and reporting.
