Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and driven Analyst/Consultant to grow our Operational Services team in AFRY Management Consulting in Stockholm, Vantaa, Vienna or Munich. The position is specifically focused on the Paper and Pulp sectors. The candidate will work in a dynamic multinational project based environment focusing on operational services from process improvement from for our global client base.
AFRY Management Consulting provides leading-edge strategic consulting and advisory services covering the whole value chain in energy, forest and other process industries. Our international Operations team with its Supply Chain, Asset Management, Energy, Organisational, Operations and Digitalisation experts forms one of the leading advisory teams globally within the pulp and paper, packaging and tissue Industry.

The tasks of the job will include among others to

  • Work as a team member in projects varying from operational diagnostics, process redesign to implementation, cost savings, operational due diligence projects and many more
  • Support our clients on side with the implementation of new ways of working and support them in this transformation
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members throughout the project from idea generation, data analysis, client site visits to report preparation and formulating recommendations and conclusions for our clients and joined implementation alongside with them with a heavy change management component
  • Participate in client meetings, often presenting the part of the work which you have been responsible for, workshop facilitation and working side-by-side with clients and their teams on their premises ensuring sustainable project success
  • Contribute to the competence, business and offering development

Qualifications

In order to succeed in the role, you should have the following skills and capabilities:

  • Relevant university degree (M.Sc./B.Sc. in Paper or Pulp or related related topics) with strong academic performance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills
  • Full fluency in English (oral and written) is a necessity. Proficiency in any other language is a clear advantage, especially German.
  • Advanced user of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent team work capabilities and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a variety of different roles, cultural settings and across sectors in an international environment
  • Energy, drive and interest in pursuing a career as a consultant
  • Flexibility to travel and work abroad
  • In addition, we appreciate working experience in the forestry and biomass industry or relevant process areas such as lean, organisational improvement, supply chain, maintenance, production optimisation, value chain optimisation, etc.
