Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in a related field and 1 to 3 years of related experience or College Diploma and 3+ years of related experience in a financial institution.
- Knowledge of lending products, leasing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and its regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and good judgment.
- Excellent problem solving, initiative, decision making, analysis and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify process improvements and communicate these to their supervisor
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook a must.
- Bilingual* (French/English) is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think outside of the box and creatively manage stressful day-to-day tasks and deadlines
- Outstanding team player
- Must be detail oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with others in fast paces, dynamic environment

Responsibilities:
- Enters information into various systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Investigate, evaluate, set conditions, recommend approvals or declines ensuring compliance with the current legislation and with the policies, programs and procedures of LBC Capital.
- Gathers necessary information required to co ordinate and analyze credit application and submits recommendations
- Communicates directly with the Vendor/Dealer/Broker/Account Executive working with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Compliance and Operations) to gain a thorough understanding of the transaction.
- Perform analysis of customer situation (financial statement, credit bureau, collateral gap) to make informed decision and recommendations on finance requests
- Recommend and present transactions to senior Credit officers
- Understanding of the company business, economic, industry risk, policies and procedures
- Verifies data and information on credit applications to ensure their accuracy
- Ensures attainment of service standards for processing applications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Replies to internal and external client queries and provides solutions or escalates the concern to the appropriate authority.
- Keeps up to date on applicable legislation, as well as on the Bank’s policies, programs, procedures and market trends.
- Participates in special projects and carries out any other similar or general task at the request of their superior or that may be required by their function.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks, projects while working with deadlines
