EXPERIENCE:

• Manages time and shifting priorities effectively and maintains a positive attitude in the face of varying and sometimes conflicting business requirements.
• Candidate must be capable of taking responsibility for a task and managing it through completion.
• Good experience in one or more of the following technology stack databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Vendor specific certifications, given preference to Veeam, VMware or similar

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Analyst Customer Application Support is responsible for the system administration and support Business Applications systems, within SITA’s Customer’s Application Support Team. You will assure SITA’s competitive strength and business growth through the provision of the highest quality technical services to our customers at their premises.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Daily Monitoring of Interfaces, Backups and recovery policies and procedures
• Documents business user requirements through standard systems analysis methodologies.
• Resolve applications problems directly or in conjunction with vendor and third-party applications developers.
• Understand IT best practices around ITIL frameworks
• Plan growth and changes (Capacity planning)
• Provide support on various applications managed by the team
• Research and evaluate alternatives to recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution that meets business requirements and IT standards.
• Perform database, applications and performance tuning including monitoring and business improvements
• Provide ownership and accountability for incidents, requests, changes which are related to defined applications.
