Responsibilities:
- Turn data into information by leveraging business acumen, coupled with knowledge of business intelligence, analytics, and AI solutions (ex. machine learning), as capabilities and the possible applications of these.
- Set the standard for the Business intelligence (BI) practice.
- Liaise with the Business and the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to drive requirements gathering, define scope, priorities and share plans.
- Assume accountability for business value creation by the defined BI / data product(s) within one or more data domains.
- Design and create insightful reports and visuals by integrating story telling techniques.
- Provide coaching and support to internal BI contributors to develop autonomy and raise BI maturity level.
- Work with the architecture team, the solution analysts, the cybersecurity team, and the business, to explore system improvements and future innovations.
- Define and grow data governance practices and data management practices at VIA.
- Manage the release / implementation / support plans and commitments in line with sprints and users. Support users during the deployment of the solution.
- Participate in the development of documentation, peer reviews, acceptance tests, facilitative tools and training programs intended for users
