The Data Operations team delivers trusted data to enable the launch & supply of products to our customers. Our key accountabilities include governance and maintenance of the Data Operations Framework; delivering a regulated and compliant data environment; using intelligent automation, workflow, process improvements, cross-segment expertise, and third-party suppliers to improve quality, timeliness, cost, and effort across Supply Chain; applying deep end-to-end knowledge and subject matter expertise to define, shape and implement supply chain strategies; and cultivating talent as a distinctive capability.

We are looking for a results-oriented, positive, and curious individual to join Data Operations team in the EMEA region. You will support our business units with data analyses on various data topics, such as materials and pricing. Data Operations is a significant division, and this role is important in our mission to enable correct data to business.
As the Data Analyst you will need to have a passion for data and to be strong at collecting and understanding data, within our strategic roadmap and data strategy. Your business knowledge will help you to identify business-relevant requirements while using strong communication skills within various business contacts.
This position will execute day-to-day material master data operations to support the strategy of the function across business units.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the master data set up and maintenance of product information on the ERP systems for our franchises/business units and in relation with local countries and all J&J affiliates.
- Data Quality - proactively identify, rectify and follow-up on errors and root causes of errors.
- Collaborate to create and maintain documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents.
- Usage of analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into product details, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Identify business and analytics needs in close partnership with stakeholders, capture data requirements and translate them into user friendly format (e.g. Excel, SQL extract or BI reports).
- Collaboration with the documentation maintenance process and Sharepoint Site solutions and automations
- Support on ad-hoc material master requests and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business analytics, Logistics/Supply chain or related field.
Minimum of 1-4 years’ experience and/or studied modules in relation to Supply Chain and Logistics is highly preferred.
- Master data management experience in the context of large ERP platforms.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.) is expected e.g., data manipulation with Excel – pivot tables, macros, and vlookups.
Exposure to data management, analytical and process automation tools e.g., Data Bricks, SQL, Winshuttle, Qlik, Tableau etc. is highly preferred.
Knowledge of SAP 4 Hana system is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in written and oral English
Strong collaboration and demonstrated business partnering with the ability to influence is required.
Supply chain experience, preferably in master data, operations, or multi-functional business environment.
Natural curiosity and positive energy level required to proactively engage with business partners.
Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation, and analytical skills are essential to be successful in this role and your strong interest in and commitment to business partnering.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously required.
