YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ experience in an enterprise desktop support or service desk role
  • Proven ability to operate in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, identify issues and drive resolutions involving multiple teams
  • Experience with the following:
  • Microsoft Windows (7 & 10)
  • Microsoft Active Directory

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This role is part of the Markets Technology team supporting the Corporate and Institutional division of NAB. It is critical to providing a stable and efficient operating environment for colleagues who service NAB’s clients across Australia and internationally and manage the bank’s risk positions through traded products.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES A WORK SCHEDULE THAT ALIGNS WITH LOCAL BUSINESS OPERATING HOURS AND SOME WEEKEND WORK WHERE REQUIRED.

You are a passionate, customer-focused desktop support analyst with hands on experience supporting VIP customer base. You work in a highly collaborative manner with your team and the colleagues you support across Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all our 250+ staff across the Sydney and Brisbane regions
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in person, via phone, or electronically
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Build and deploy desktop and laptops
  • Assist with relocation of technology for single, multi-desk and office moves
  • Maintain accurate inventory of local equipment
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance and training for software and hardware
  • Support the trading phone and voice recording systems
  • Staying up to date with system information, changes and updates
  • Work with other NAB technology teams and vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing and telephony equipment
  • Work with other NAB technology teams to deliver project related changes for Markets and drive best solution and outcomes that are fit for purpose
