We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst. The role primarily involves developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or utility programs. The candidate will be expected to optimize operational efficiency and manage the design and development of software systems.

• Review modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow adaptation to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of the design.
• Evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Provide counsel to customers about software system design and maintenance.
• Provide guidance to systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel.
• Maintain expert knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in the production of drawings and models.
• Manage time independently and provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Utilize expertise in niche computer software such as Oracle, Csharp.net, Lawson, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and the ability to manage customer interactions effectively.
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and updating documentation relevant to business processes and systems.
• Proficiency in generating reports and presenting data in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven experience in training employees, with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
• Familiarity with creating, implementing, and reviewing business procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in reviewing business processes and recommending improvements.
• Demonstrated ability in designing business solutions that meet organizational objectives.
• Experience in supervising teams, with strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using ‘About Time’ for efficient time management and productivity.
• Experience in providing workstation support to ensure smooth business operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving business goals.
• Experience in managing production processes to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
• Proficiency in implementing and managing security systems to protect business data and resources.
• Experience in engineering business processes for optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Demonstrated ability in optimization of business processes and systems for better performance.
• Experience with Oracle database systems, including management and optimization.
• Proficiency in programming, with the ability to create and manage business applications.
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in providing counsel to business teams, based on analysis of business data and trends.
• Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Understanding of business principles and their application in a business setting.
• Experience in managing computer hardware resources for an organization.
• Ability to create drawings to represent business data and trends effectively.
• Experience in creating and implementing validation plans for business processes and systems.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business setting.
