QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years in finance or financial planning and analysis, investment banking or consulting
  • High proficiency in Excel, with significant financial modeling experience
  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast, and periodic business reviews
  • Significant analytical skill set, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • Able to solve complex problems
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written
  • Experience with ERP system, NetSuite preferred
    Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Leading initiatives to improve & develop key reporting documents (e.g. Operations/Inventory dashboards, Gross Margin analysis.), including:
  • In partnership with Operations team, complete weekly/monthly KPI dashboard reporting including but not limited to fill-rate, inv turn, DOI, stock to sale ratio, time to receive, lost sales ratio,
  • Create, maintain and analyze key operation reporting such as transport and absorption of freight/duties monthly and make recommendation on annual basis for rate as part of budget process
  • Global Pricing:
  • Own global pricing strategy, managing and updating SRP by region (in partnership with local team and Global Product Marketing team); including analysis of fx fluctuations and analyzing margin structure for all markets providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Audit monthly a sample population of invoices to ensure proper pricing vs agreed upon terms
  • Provide to leadership margin forecast by customer/channel/region as required (budget, R1 and landing)
  • Inventory/Cost:
  • Develop and maintain all existing cost standards by item including BOM and duty changes

  • Own and report on monthly purchase price variance and inventory adjustment analysis; update standard material costs for items (including tracking all purchase price variances and provide recommendations on improved sourcing opportunities)
  • Conduct regular cost audits in partnership with sourcing team
  • Drive cost savings programs in close partnership with sourcing team
  • Perform count variance analysis for year-end physical inventory (PI), and reconcile inventory and adjustment impact before and after PI in partnership with operations team.
  • Recommend appropriate transactions and ledger account coding to all inventory usage/movement inquiries
  • Actively support monthly closing activities (Accruals, Departmental reporting, etc.)
  • Analyze quarterly inventory obsolescence and advise appropriate provision balance
  • Review in partnership with accounts receivable team all chargebacks (specifically RTVs and testers and analyze ratio against annual sales, challenge and make recommendation to sales team)
  • Analyze and provide explanation a monthly on gross margin movements (customer, channel and product impact) to leadership
  • Review and manage monthly, the accrued inventory account balance, various returns and allowance provision accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and maintain a monthly Inventory roll-forward and cost analysis
  • Participate and/or lead “ad-hoc” projects: actively collaborate with Sr. Director Finance, CFO, and Operations leadership in analyzing complex set of information and producing presentation documents for top management
