Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Putnam is looking to hire a health economic modeller to join a collaborative team in Poland as an HEOR Analyst and growing company to support a range of decision modelling and other health economics projects.
This role is based in Poland, in our Krakow office (hybrid working model). Remote work may be available - please inquire.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Functional technical expertise

  • Higher degree (PhD or MSc) in health economics or related discipline
  • Good knowledge of health economic methodologies (e.g., economic modelling, analysis of real-world economic evidence, utility measurement, costing studies)
  • An understanding of HTA methodologies and processes
  • An understanding of the global payer environment including coverage, reimbursement and pricing
  • Project management skills
  • Proposal writing skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues
  • Excellent quantitative skills, including econometrics
  • Good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., STATA, R)
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Must have 2+ years minimum of work experience to be considered for a senior analyst position

Responsibilities:

Based within the modelling team, the post holder will support a range of health economics projects across various teams across the company such as:

  • Development of economic models (contributing to development of model specifications, building economic models and interpreting results)
  • Statistical/econometric analyses of datasets such as resource-use and quality-of-life data (development of statistical analysis plans, data analysis, interpretation of results)
  • Contributing to Health Technology Assessment [HTA] submissions
  • Preparation of reports and presentations
  • Supporting the project manager to successfully deliver projects to expected quality, timelines and budget
  • Participation in internal and external (communication with clients) day-to-day management of projects as required

Additional responsibilities of the role may include the following:

  • Contributing to the development of evidence generation plans
  • Reviewing HTA and reimbursement decisions
  • Drafting abstracts and manuscripts as lead or co-author
  • Development of conference presentations, workshops and symposia
  • Supporting the development of proposals
  • Designing, implementing and analyzing quality of life and stated preference studies
  • Designing, implementing and analyzing HTA policy and methodology studies
