CLAIMS PROCESSOR - WORKERS COMPENSATION

About the Role

Working within the ROC II team with your own portfolio of low risk long term claims. Working as part of a collaborative team, Technical support and learning for those looking for career progression and growth.

  • Managing weekly payment of entitlements
  • Data entry for individual claims portfolios
  • Dealing with high risk calls with patients
  • Responsible for processing claims requests, in adherence to the policies, laws, and regulations of the company involved
  • CIP (Community Integration Program) Claims

Required Expertise

  • Customer service experience within a medical or corporate environment
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with patients, medical, paramedical and legal practitioners
  • Sensitivity to issues related to people with medical, cultural and social needs
  • Technically capable of working across multiple platforms and being self sufficient with technology and troubleshooting systems
  • Processing abilities – claims management activities, eg. file noting
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing, sometimes high-pressured environment
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
