Job Description
Position Summary:
As part of the Strategic Initiatives and Investor Relations team within the Infrastructure Group the Analyst will report to the Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Investor Relations. This is a dynamic and multi-faceted role that offers the opportunity to develop a strong internal network with investment professionals, the finance and operations teams, and senior management across Brookfield’s global offices, in addition to building a strong external network through interaction with private fund limited partners.
The role will be focused on the execution of IR strategies, servicing the investor base, capital raising for Brookfield’s infrastructure strategies and co-investments, and contributing to content creation and thought leadership across Brookfield’s Infrastructure products.
The individual selected for this role will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with existing investors and strategically growing Brookfield Infrastructure’s investor base, while being part of a fast-paced and engaging team environment that is at the forefront of infrastructure investment. Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining investor materials such as investor presentations, fact sheets, investor correspondence, due diligence materials and internal communications such as investment committee memos
  • Assisting with enquiries from private fund investors by utilizing internal and external resources
  • Coordinating investor meetings/roadshows for the senior management team, including preparing presentations and speaking notes
  • Preparation and dissemination of IR materials (investor communications and updates, investor reporting, presentations etc.) and internal communications materials for major transactions and capital raising initiatives
  • Maintaining and updating investor focused data sites (i.e., Intralinks, Salesforce)
  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation of quarterly conference calls/webcasts with private fund investors, including reviewing and editing event transcripts
  • Monitoring and tracking market activity within the infrastructure space and gathering competitive intelligence

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Undergraduate university degree with a focus on business/finance or economics
  • Strong financial literacy and understanding of key finance concepts (valuation, financial statement analysis, investment performance measurement)
  • Ability to understand and distill complex financial topics into concise and clear communications
  • Superior communication skills (written and oral) and ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Dedicated, well-organized and resourceful with a high level of attention to detail; ability to handle confidential and non-routine information
  • Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative, and has the ability to work without a lot of structure
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and MS Word
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Interest in the financial markets and investment strategies
