Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Loans Management Business, Specialised Business Services, this role assumes responsibility for the management of a portfolio of stressed loans and impaired asset files.

  • Preparation of Credit / Funding submissions
  • Completion of interim, quarterly and annual reviews and associated reporting within approved timeframes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate credit recommendations.
  • Analysis of financial accounts, budgets and forecasts.
  • Review and setting of Risk Grade & Security Quality Indicator and Individually Assessed Provision requirements.
  • In conjunction with Manager Loans Management Business (and Senior Manager Loans Management Business) select prescribed solutions, or design alternative solutions to reduce risk to the Bank.

  • Ability to work within a high performing team in adverse and/or stressful situations, especially dealing with difficult customers.
  • Financial analysis, assessment of debt servicing criteria, financial statements of position, business budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s products and lending processes. Other relevant internal processes including facility and security documentation.
  • Ability to negotiate to attain the best outcome for the Bank and the Customer.
