ING Wholesale Banking Germany is the corporate banking segment of ING Germany. The network sector coverage team – in close cooperation with our colleagues from abroad and those responsible for the respective products – takes care of the local business for ING customers that are subsidiaries of foreign companies. Our focus is particularly on growing the local “flow” business. Responsibilities:
- Your hands-on assistance enables our Relationship Managers to not only maintain and expand existing client connections but also to acquire new NSC customers. To facilitate this you actively and competently interact with clients directly.
- Whether it’s about the local “flow” business, such as cash management or guarantee operations, or advising corporate customers regarding sustainable finance products and capital markets, you work closely and seamlessly with your colleagues responsible for different products, such as Lending, Trade Finance (including PCM / Trade business), Financial Markets, Working Capital Solutions, Debt Capital Markets and Risk. In doing so, you advance the global customer strategy locally.
- By sharing your expertise, you assist the Relationship Managers in carrying out VCT / client strategies and team up with product departments to enhance cross-buy opportunities and increase their share of wallet.
- Furthermore, you clear the way for various operational tasks, whether it is preparing pitch books for clients and decision templates for internal committees, understanding company key figures, or compiling reports – thanks to you any bumps in the road are avoided.
- Your facilitation skills don’t end there: In customer-related tasks such as on- and offboarding or reviewing and updating client data, your diligence and enthusiasm shine through as well.
- Using your analytical skills, you dive deep into relevant client, sector, and market information to help generate leads as well as clearly and concisely present the commercial and risk-oriented strategy of selected clients to decision-making committees.
- In all your activities, you ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations and are always willing to support the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
