Position Title: Analyst, Occupational Health Services
Team and Location: People and Culture - Calgary, AB

POSITION SUMMARY:

Parkland is looking for a dynamic Analyst to join our Occupational Health Services team in Calgary. Reporting to Parkland’s Occupational Health Nurse, this position is part of Parkland’s Benefit & OHS team and is accountable for the support of Parkland’s occupational and non-occupational health and disability programs across Canada and the United States. This role will provide you a chance to, learn, develop and improve the programs necessary for disability and benefit across Parkland’s diverse workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

2-5 years of experience with group benefits and/or disability administration, or medical administration in a professional corporate setting.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills, including MS-Office.
Able to professionally deal with confidential information.
Ability to work with discretion, tact, and good judgment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates employee support for both WCB and STD cases.
Maintains confidential health records.
Administers Parkland’s modified duties and return to work programs.
Books and monitors appointments for pre-employment medical evaluations.
Supports the administration Parklands Occupational Health and Wellness programs including Employee Assistance Program offerings.
Stewards Parkland’s relationship with provincial WCB/WSIB agencies and reconciles WCB premiums, rebates, and payments.
Administers Group Benefit invoices premiums, rebates, and payments.
Supports the development and implementation of health and wellness policies, procedures, programs, standards and safe work practices.
Partners to develop required training and program communications.
