PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Portfolio Review & Analysis
- Assist in the review and analysis of investment portfolios.
- Assist in maintaining models/systems to forecast gross and net performance, incorporating key assumptions, scenarios, and risk tolerances.
- Work closely with the Portfolio Management team in developing and maintaining any financial models and analytical tools.
- Help prepare summaries of insights and trends based on market data.
Operational
- Develop a thorough knowledge of each Fund and its underlying investments.
- Assist in updating Investment Policy Statements and other Portfolio Management policies.
- Assist in ensuring compliance of loans and renewals with constating documents.
- Assist in the annual maintenance and updates of Offering Memorandums.
- Support in preparation of the weekly cash flow allocations across the investment funds.
Investor Relations
- Provides support in gathering information (internal and external) required for investors calls and conferences, sales efforts and due diligence processes.
- Assists in preparing and validating loan and portfolio level data/reporting prepared by other business units for external stakeholders (i.e. Fund Fact Sheets).
Reporting
- Assist in preparation of fund performance reporting including KPI’s and benchmarking against competitors.
- Assist in preparation of market analysis reporting including performance of stocks and bonds.
- Assist in preparation of portfolio analytics, statistics, and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Product Development
- Conduct research on product offerings in the marketplace under the direction of the Portfolio Management team.
- Develop an understanding of competitive landscape through research undertaken.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Commerce, with a specialization in Finance or equivalent qualifications.
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience in the real estate / investment industry.
- CIM or CFA in progress.

Responsibilities:
The Portfolio Management team at Trez Capital is oversees real estate investment funds with over $5.3B in assets under management (AUM). As an Analyst in Portfolio Management, you will collaborate with a team of seasoned investment professionals, contributing to a various analytical, strategic, and team-driven initiatives essential to our operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain extensive exposure to the real estate investment industry, including debt and equity investments across North America, leading investment fund structures, and servicing of a diverse range of retail and institutional clients.
