POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Analyst of Indirect Procurement – Technology working extensively with our client, an athletic apparel retailer. As a key member of our Client Services team, this position will play a critical role for LogicSource supporting procurement and analytical functional operations as part of a large procurement engagement. This role reports to the Director, Indirect Procurement.
Responsibilities:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in analysis and/or procurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Exposure strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes.
  • Experience or exposure to Indirect Procurement – Technology and Software as a service contracts negotiation is highly preferred.
  • Analytically adept with strong reporting skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Good reasoning; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing accordingly to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, make sound business decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively communicate with the procurement team, Client’s business owners and cross-functional partners to gather project requirements, confirm budget and align on sourcing strategies and supplier selection recommendations.
  • Develop negotiations baseline, proposals/RFx responses analysis and utilize client savings calculation model to build scenarios in support of solution development.
  • Build strategic sourcing models (market comparison, vendor rationalization, RFx, negotiations, contracting and implementation).
  • Prepare RFx documentation as per Client’s processes and requirements.
  • Execute and/or participate in procurement projects (e.g., RFxs, renewals) to ensure optimal cost while meeting business requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical support by leveraging and creating analysis of market intelligence, spend data, and other resources to map category landscape, identify opportunities for savings and uncover additional insights.
  • Manage project approvals and updates in OneMarket Portfolio on behalf of the Category team.
  • Provide support to manage the contracting process on behalf of the Category team using the CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) system.
  • Build and maintain efficient and courteous relationships with Client’s Global Procurement team, business units, and cross-functional partners (Legal, FP&A, Cybersecurity, and others).
