POSITION SUMMARY…
The Analyst, Product Information is a subject matter expert on our Product Information Management System (PIM). The role is responsible for both acting as a Super User of our current PIM system (Stibo STEP) as well as having oversight and providing support for our Next Gen PIM system implementation (Global Omni Item) from an Ecommerce perspective.
Day to day will involve resolving user inquiries received typically via JIRA ticket. These can include system access requests, requests to export or import mass amounts of data, creating customized exports, and troubleshooting item setup issues that may result in an item not showing online.
The role is responsible for ensuring back-end product data for the Walmart.ca product catalogue is configured correctly to achieve business users’ desired front-end treatment.

- Experience working in retail and / or e-commerce

- Ability to work independently and proactively, as part of a team, and cross-functionally within the organization
- Some understanding of basic SQL queries is an asset
- Excel capabilities (Pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas)

Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter expert in PIM system – deep understanding of the implementation of the platform and its applicability to business outcomes.
- Conduct Internal Associate training as required and will support technical questions from all PIM stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain data governance in the PIM system
- Assign User Permissions, Roles & Responsibilities within the system.
- Provide UAT support, guidance and feedback to ensure all system enhancements adhere to business needs.
- Resolving JIRA ticket inquiries to completion
- Oversight of legacy PIM to Next Gen PIM attribute & functionality mapping process.
- Global Omni Item Project – SME, Administrator/Super User functions post-launch.
