Overview of the Role

  • This position is a temporary contract of 18 months

The incumbent will report directly to the Supervisor, Quality Assurance Systems and will be responsible for analyzing and responding to various technical requests.
Salary range from $65 510 to $97 510
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.*

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Analyze and respond to technical requests from customers;
  • Manage the complaint database, prepare reports and benchmarking charts;
  • Coordinate the entry of various information into various internal and external databases;
  • Participate in the management and implementation of QA programs;
  • Manage and optimize the supplier document management system;
  • Plan and coordinate third party audits;
  • Manage and participate in the approval process for various types of suppliers;
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team in their tasks and participate in special projects;
  • Act as a resource person and administrative support for the sales, operations and strategic business development departments

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • University degree in food science and technology or equivalent;
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Accuracy, organizational skills, ability to analyze/synthesize, self-motivation and initiative;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
