We are seeking a talented and experienced Analyst Relations (AR) professional to join our team at NetApp. As the Analyst Relations Manager for our Cloud Storage business, you will play a pivotal role in owning and executing an effective analyst relations program to drive awareness and market positioning for cloud storage solutions based on NetApp, amplify our innovation in cloud storage, gain third-party validation of our capabilities and guide internal decision making. You will work closely with leading analysts worldwide, leading public cloud providers’ AR teams and NetApp executives across product management and go-to-market to shape and enhance NetApp’s reputation and market presence in the cloud storage.
Responsibilities

Plan, execute and measure all aspects of a targeted, global analyst relations program: co-define the program strategy with key stakeholders, build relationships, help analysts understand the strategy, execution, and value of our products, drive inclusion in relevant research, influence research agendas, monitor research coverage, set and measure against share of voice and tonality KPIs, engage continuously with targeted analysts to ensure positive advocacy outcomes.

  • Stay abreast of key trends from analyst research to prepare executives for engaging with analysts
  • Drive, capture, analyze and share analyst insights to inform internal decision/making
  • Recommend and manage inbound decision support to executives through analyst consulting engagements
  • Manage regular analyst engagements: proactive analyst briefings, inquiries, strategy summits, events
  • Advocate, educate, align internally
  • Identify and drive opportunities for collaboration with key partners of the analyst relations team
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of analyst research reports for influence
  • Manage submissions for relevant analyst research

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Analyst Relations with demonstrated success
  • Work history or familiarity with business strategies of cloud vendors i.e. AWS, Microsoft, Google
  • Understanding of enterprise on-premises and data storage technologies and ecosystem a plus
  • Understanding of secondary research methodologies, financial numbers, measurement ratios a plus
  • Growth mindset
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • A team player able to work collaboratively with AR team and with cross-functional teams
  • Performance-driven, taking responsibility and striving for excellence
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling connections with people at various levels of seniority
  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects to quality completion in a timely manner
  • Analytical skills with an ability to draw fact-based conclusions
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Microsoft Teams, Zoom.
