Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Neo is looking for an experienced and data driven individual with strong knowledge of advanced analytical techniques to join our team in Toronto. As a member of our Risk Analytics team, you’ll help to enable a high growth portfolio with sound risk management principles as related to credit risk decisioning. Leveraging your knack for data, you’ll make an immediate impact via development and deployment of advanced analytical techniques across our credit risk decisioning projects. You’ll be contributing to our innovative, strategic, and high-performance team with a mission to improve the financial experience for all Canadians.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead development and implementation of key credit risk strategies to effectively manage the lending portfolio inline with business objectives; credit risk levers across the entire lifecycle of acquisition, account management, and collections
  • Leverage industry leading statistical methods to advance insights into customer risk profiles
  • Lead analytical projects requiring extensive analysis of large amounts of data (structured and unstructured)
  • Utilize R, Python, SQL to extract and manipulate data and perform statistical analyses that drive value to decision making
  • Coordinate across various teams to develop an understanding of areas to which risk analytics are required and identify suitable analytical solutions
  • Distill highly complex analytical work into clear communications/presentations for a wide range of audiences
  • Implement high-value data visualizations to socialize insights in a clear manner
