Analyst – Senior Principal Analyst (Strategic Procurement Dept)

The Strategic Procurement Department works across EMA’s various departments as well as with industry to ensure sufficient ancillary services for a stable and reliable power system.

• Play a key role in reviews and modelling to plan and develop policies for the security and reliability of Singapore’s power system, especially in its transition and adoption of cleaner energy sources
• Develop new ancillary services products, where necessary, to ensure they are fit for purpose in dealing with new challenges faced by the power system and model the outcomes when they are introduced
• Design relevant strategies and financial frameworks to ensure cost effective procurement of ancillary services and financial viability of providing such services in the long run
• Manage and continuously seek improvements for the delivery of ancillary services and administration of related contracts
