JOB SUMMARY

Information Technology Services (ITS) is dedicated to a constructive, team-orientated environment, gathering varied perspectives, sharing knowledge, and building effective partnerships that enable our partners to achieve their goals by advising, providing solutions, and delivering service excellence in alignment with the University’s mission and goals. Reporting to the Manager of Security Operations the Analyst/Senior Software Developer performs duties of a senior technical staff member in the Security Operations unit of Infrastructure and Operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus a minimum of five years of related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with directory management, account provisioning and web application development using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Postgres and/or MariaDB.
  • Experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Good analytical, problem solving, written and oral communications skills, as well as organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out analysis, design, implementation and production support for both new and existing systems & services.
  • Lead Identify and Access Management (IAM) initiatives and perform workflow analysis to enhance directory infrastructure and service delivery.
  • Develop custom web application components to complement and extend commercial software and drive automated workflows.
  • Process production support requests within established time frames, investigate problems and implement recovery procedures where necessary.
  • Enhance and support current applications and technology while transitioning to new platforms.
  • Adhere to project management methodologies to establish and deliver projects.
