QUALIFICATIONS:

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

• 0 – 3 years of experience in a Structured Finance, Securitized Products, Leveraged Finance, M&A or Coverage Group
• Experience with credit analysis, building models with complex waterfalls, and structuring of securitization transactions across different asset classes and types of structures
• Analytical and detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and pro-active
• Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Robust organizational and time management skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
• Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $150,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.

As a First Year Analyst you will join the Structured Products Group where we advise large corporate and institutional clients on complex financings across the capital structure, including securitizations, tax-related financings and other various capital-raising and liquidity event transactions.

We are seeking qualified candidates who possess knowledge and interest in Structured Products advisory. Analysts would be responsible for the following:

• Financial analysis and modeling
• Drafting of client presentations
• Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
• Conducting financial and other business related research
• Coordinating complex and time-sensitive processes
