Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities in Asia in the energy transition domain.
  • Construction and maintenance of detailed financial models
  • Support of due diligence work streams, transaction documentation and overall transaction execution for proposed investments
  • Preparation of investment committee materials, internal memoranda and other transaction documents
  • In-depth research in respect of relevant geographies, technologies and business models
  • Review of portfolio performances and analysis of results for stakeholders Skills required
  • Strong academic credentials in business / economics / engineering and mastery of relevant corporate finance (valuation, budgeting, accounting etc.) concepts
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, M&A, private equity or consulting; experience in an infrastructure or clean energy investment manager is a plus
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex financial models
  • Excellent communications skills in English, additional fluency in an Asian language is a plus
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented and motivated self-starter
  • Constructive and collaborative approach, works well within teams and looks to identify optimal solutions for all stakeholders
