Analyst – Sustainable Finance team

Do you want to work with supporting the transition to low carbon and more resource efficient economies with the power of finance? Danske Bank is looking for a specialist in sustainability to support its strong Sustainable Finance team.
Sustainable Finance is a team anchored in Corporate and Institutional Banking, with staff located in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. The team is divided in three main areas, namely ESG Risk, Portfolio ESG Analysis and Sustainability & Corporate Advisory. We have a collaborative and informal culture, yet a strong focus on performance. Moreover, our team has a strong combined knowledge of sustainability with professional backgrounds in finance, climate, engineering, environmental sciences and human rights.
We are looking for an Analyst to fill in for a 1-year parental leave in Portfolio ESG Analysis team and to continue as a permanent employee in Sustainable Finance team in Helsinki. The Portfolio ESG Analysis team has a key role in developing Danske Bank’s climate work for Large Corporates and Institutions and following the improvements in the portfolio. The team also supports the Global Head of Sustainable Finance with business manager tasks. Additionally, the team is improving the data management and reporting related to Sustainable Finance.
After the parental leave substitution, there is opportunities to get acquainted with different areas of Sustainable Finance. Depending on your profile, interests, and the team’s needs, you could continue to develop your skills in data analysis or move to a client facing role in Sustainable Finance’s Advisory team, for example.
