JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Enforces the Trade Compliance program for the organization. Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and/or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analyzes import and export data to ensure compliance and procedures are being followed.
- Files applications for Customs licenses, special authorizations or permist required to import or export products.
- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is created and available for Customs import or export clearance.
- Maintains recordkeeping program for import and export transactions.
- Performs assessments of Customs Brokers and communicates performance.
- Supports cost study activities.
- Determines Customs classifications and duty rates.
- Supports Free Trade Agreement programs.
- Leverage internal and external systems to help validate customs compliance information.
- All other duties as assigned.
