JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Enforces the Trade Compliance program for the organization. Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and/or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analyzes import and export data to ensure compliance and procedures are being followed.
  • Files applications for Customs licenses, special authorizations or permist required to import or export products.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is created and available for Customs import or export clearance.
  • Maintains recordkeeping program for import and export transactions.
  • Performs assessments of Customs Brokers and communicates performance.
  • Supports cost study activities.
  • Determines Customs classifications and duty rates.
  • Supports Free Trade Agreement programs.
  • Leverage internal and external systems to help validate customs compliance information.
  • All other duties as assigned.
