WHAT WILL YOUR DAYS BE LIKE AT LGI HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS?

We’re looking for someone with experience in quality assurance for one of our data analysis suite products. This is a business intelligence product for healthcare-related data. You will be part of an Agile development team, while working more broadly within the software quality assurance team. In this role, it will be particularly important to think about the data and environments to be used for testing, as well as integrations with our customers’ various systems.
The role of Quality Assurance Analyst is to provide quality assurance and testing activities for our software development projects. As an active member of an Agile development team, you will also work as part of the Software Quality Assurance team to perform testing, writing and executing test cases. You will be responsible for the correct implementation of quality assurance standards, processes and procedures. This role is essential in the development and implementation of testing procedures.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO LGI HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or DEC with relevant experience;
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role;
  • Understanding of quality assurance concepts and principles, and ability to apply quality assurance and testing techniques;
  • Experience working in an Agile, SCRUM environment;
  • Good knowledge of databases;
  • Knowledge of ETL data transformation processes;
  • Experience in writing SQL queries, using SQL Server Management Studio or other software that interacts with a database, an asset;
  • Experience with Xray, JIRA, Confluence, an asset;
  • Basic knowledge of software or script development, an asset;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Ability to communicate and work as part of a team;
  • Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Strong interest in data analysis;
  • This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating, orally and in writing, with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.
