Responsibilities:

  • Support the Quality department in improving the safety of the A220 fleet
  • Manage SARIs and/or SGS items, from allocation to closure
  • Lead problem-solving activities (PPS - Practical Problem Solving /8D/9S ) addressing safety issues
  • Set up and/or coordinate multi-functional teams (MFT)
  • Issue corrective and preventive actions on the production system, through root cause analysis, in order to prevent the recurrence of problems.
  • Present files to Production Panel (PP) authorities for validation.
  • Participate in the proper application of the Safety Management System (SMS) within Airbus Canada.
  • Contribute to SARI and SGS process improvement and adherence
  • Lead quality projects on systemic issues related to Safety.
  • And also get experience & training in Safety and POA (Production Organisation Approval) to help build an essential & critical team to Airbus Canada: mastery of Safety and Production Processes, POA compliance & investigation specialists (PPS/9S).
