Responsibilities:
- Weekly preparation of reports detailing performance and profitability of product for various accounts
- Build and maintain analytical models in support of key decisions around plan, forecast and other strategic decisions - Interpret and summarize results of reports and analysis
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels and for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
- Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate and monitor forecast results
- Buy quantities according to needs and forecast models
- Recap, analyze and communicate actual to plan results with recommendations for forecasting open to buy
- Prepare and participate in weekly/monthly meetings on the planning process
- Communicate regularly with production and sourcing teams regarding orders, shipment, ETA dates
- Be on the lookout to continuously improve tools, data sources, data quality and analytical methods in order to refine various aspects of the analysis of demand and operational needs
