Responsibilities:

  • Weekly preparation of reports detailing performance and profitability of product for various accounts
  • Build and maintain analytical models in support of key decisions around plan, forecast and other strategic decisions - Interpret and summarize results of reports and analysis
  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels and for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
  • Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate and monitor forecast results
  • Buy quantities according to needs and forecast models
  • Recap, analyze and communicate actual to plan results with recommendations for forecasting open to buy
  • Prepare and participate in weekly/monthly meetings on the planning process
  • Communicate regularly with production and sourcing teams regarding orders, shipment, ETA dates
  • Be on the lookout to continuously improve tools, data sources, data quality and analytical methods in order to refine various aspects of the analysis of demand and operational needs
