Job Purpose and Impact
The Analytical Scientist will perform HPLC analyses to help drive the development of new products and improved processes for the food, feed and industrial segments. In this role, you will mainly support the product & process development team and provide analytical knowledge to generate and analyze complex data. Responsibilities
Build and conduct scientific experiments and processes and analyze results of experiments and records data.
Perform HPLC method development, optimization and validation tasks
Execute sample preparation, processing and chromatographic analyses prior to documentation, reporting & communication of results to various scientific teams.
Conduct sample analyses & experiments following environmental health and safety standards.
Identify and resolve first line troubleshooting analytical instrumentation.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
May present ongoing work and findings to external audiences at conferences including the summaries and the nature and methodology of the research.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (pharma / food science / chemistry)
Knowledge of HPLC instrumentation principles, practices and standards
Minimum of three years of related work experience
English (B2 minimum) and German (B2 minimum) language
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work on complex projects and research questions
General technical knowledge in analytical chemistry
Results oriented with emotional intelligence, ambitious, good communication and time management skills
Experience in analytical instrumentation including spectroscopy, imaging, chromatography and sensors
