SUMMARY

The Analytics Consultant for the Strategic Analytics Team within Professional Services supports development and delivery of analytics and insights that will support Avetta clients and client account teams to support their business and programs. The role involves gathering technical client requirements and ensuring custom dashboards are created within our existing Data and Analytics platform (powered by PowerBI/Sisense/Snowflake/AWS), and other tools in the Avetta data ecosystem. The individual will work under the guidance of team members, but complete analytics tasks, building data structures and analytics reports to support client needs. The Analytics Consultant will work with peers in Analytics Product team to identify analytics that are repeatable, product-worthy, and candidates to build into data and analytic products through the extension of Avetta’s Analytics platform. The Analytics Consultant will participate in projects that build tools, streamline analytics processes, and automate the delivery of services to clients.
This position requires a client-first attitude to ensure client interactions and requests are captured, documented, and fulfilled, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The individual brings their enjoyment of working with complex data, SQL-based analysis, and Business Intelligence report construction, but also of learning new skills and capabilities to the role. These, along with analytical and problem-solving skills will be used to help build solutions for improving the efficiency and quality of delivery methods, through automation and innovation.
The Analytics Consultant interfaces with other teams including Implementation Project Management, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success Management, Product, Engineering and Professional Services. Growing their public and internal reputation will enhance the influence and impact of their work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL-based) and data programming languages (SQL, R, Python, PowerQuery).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau), preferably Sisense.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience and proficiency using typical business tools and systems (Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other platforms).
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
  • Attitude and initiative to proactively support improvement opportunities.
  • Confidently handle complex data problems and escalate when need support.
  • Passionate about delivering service excellence, and upholding own reputation for delivering on promised deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and building best practices to support internal customers, and support organizational change/stakeholder management.

  • Document and gain agreement with clients around the scope of work to be performed.

  • Develop and distribute deliverables (draft, and final versions, of reports, analysis, and dashboards) for clients, in a high quality, digital manner.
