Required Qualifications, US:
- 8+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experienc
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in data science and in developing and managing data science tools and technologies within a financial services environment.
- In-depth understanding and experience of how channels operate
- Strong understanding of financial services products
- Strong understanding of modern data technologies including AI/ML and their application in data management and analytics.
- Experience with integrating third-party data management and analytics products.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring and guiding teams towards achieving strategic goals
Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Channel Data Science within our Consumer & Small Business Bank. The Channel Data Science leader will be responsible for defining, enhancing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive strategic data science agenda and multi-year roadmap across channels in CSBB, CL and WIM
In this role, you will:
- Manage the measurement, optimization, and testing agenda for digital channels in partnership with Marketing Services teams
- Develop and manage tools for channel performance - setting the strategy for Tech investments in partnership with the capabilities team and Digital
- Lead Branch and Call Center transaction migration to digital
- Own the decision science for branch staffing, distribution network, location optimization, and call center routing
- Identify and implement Artificial Intelligence capabilities to engage customers across channels more efficiently
