Job Details:
We are seeking a proactive individual to drive technical and analytical outcomes supporting our Logistics technology roadmap and operational initiatives within Transportation. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in strategic planning and provide leadership in support efforts. The focus is on enhancing Logistics capabilities to align with business goals. You will lead cross-functional projects utilizing advanced data modeling and analysis methods to unearth insights crucial for strategic decision-making and optimizing our Transportation network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive reporting and analysis of Transportation systems data to assist projects, processes, users, and Transportation Stakeholders.
- Utilize Logistics reporting services and advanced statistical analysis to extract actionable insights and construct predictive models.
- Collaborate with various teams including IT, operational Business Units, Sales, Transportation, Warehousing, Product Movement, and Accounting to grasp business requirements, collect pertinent non-system data, and validate system data.
- Lead and coordinate departmental level projects within and outside of the team.
- Create/maintain and ensure integrity of key Transportation data sets, reports, and metrics
- Develop and document requirements, define reporting strategies, and implement
- Write queries using SQL, develop reports, dashboards, and other adhoc reporting solutions
- Continuously transforming Tyson’s data visualizations to support business models.
- Use tools such as SAP, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Power BI, and SQL Studio.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required.
Travel: 1–2 trips per year
