We are currently recruiting for Ancillary Operators. We are offering this role on a 7:7:7:7 (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off) roster where you can drive in and out of site!
The Ancillary Operator, operates mobile equipment as directed in a safe, effective and efficient manner to meet operational requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of mobile equipment within the shift to ensure optimum productivity in a safe and efficient manner.
  • o D10 dozer or equivalent
  • o Wheeled dozer (992 or WD 900)
  • o 16G grader
  • o Front end loader (Cat 970 or equivalent)
  • o 100 tonne excavator
  • o 230 tonne dump truck
  • o 50 tonne water truck
  • Ensure all machinery is safe to operate
  • o Report all faults or problems and record
  • o Pre-start and start-up checks as per training manual
  • o Operator cabin housekeeping
  • o Completion of daily check sheet
  • o Follow safe operating procedures and monitor gauges and operating system
  • o Park up and shutdown as per training manual
