Description:

We Are Hiring:

Department: Anesthesiology

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday position. Some on-call requirements with this position.
  • Hospital: Seton Main - 38th St
  • Location: Austin, TX

What You Will Do:

Assist licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of patients and equipment.

  • Clean, sterilize and set up all anesthesia equipment.
  • Assist anesthesia provider with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
  • Provide daily maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of scheduled, emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia care providers by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available, in working order & in proper location.

What You Will Need:

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
