We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated individual for (AO2) – Administration Officer role to contribute to the smooth operation for a government role.
The role can be based in Coopers Plains, QLD.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Forklift License is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a similar role, along with experience in stock control/ warehouse/storage practices.
- Basic administrative skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and databases.
- Planning and organising abilities to ensure tasks are completed within the required timelines.
- Problem solving skills with the ability to identifying and solving problems both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to use judgement and discretion with confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support.
- Perform computer-based functions of work processing, data entry and using spreadsheets.
- Reconcile deliveries and investigate anomalies.
- Undertake archiving of files and records in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Sort, distribute and track correspondence and provide a follow up where necessary.
- Assist with ordering, stock control, records, and file management.
- Provide operational and maintenance back up to the Maintenance Officer.
- Provide a variety of other administrative or support services as directed by the manager or unit team leader.
