Our client is a renowned international organisation in the professional services (legal) sector. They are currently seeking a pioneer Senior APAC Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team to lead regional recruitment initiatives (both experienced hires and early careers recruitment) across APAC as part of their growth plans.
about the job

Reporting to the APAC Head of HR, this is a key role to drive the organisation’s end-to-end talent acquisition function and act as the organisation’s brand ambassador. Your responsibilities include:-

  • Drive recruitment across APAC offices and managing the entire lifecycle from role approval to offer negotiation
  • Actively manage direct sourcing initiatives through employee referral programs and social media promotion
  • Manage the applicant tracking system, optimising functionality, monitoring recruitment agency performance, and ensuring timely hires
  • Develop tailored recruitment processes for each office, considering local practices and ensuring efficient and policy-compliant selection
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR APAC to recruit partners and undertake market mapping and online process reviews.
  • Coordinate and manage early careers programs, including work experience, internships, and trainee programs.
  • Provide support for retained trainees, manage onboarding schedules, and maintain relationships with higher learning professional institutes and student bodies.
  • Embed principles of diversity and inclusion in all recruitment activities and provide internal metrics and reporting on recruitment diversity.
  • Manage external relationships with recruitment agencies, provide innovative resourcing solutions, and participate in headcount planning meetings.
  • Continuously strive to improve recruitment processes, identify inefficiencies, and enhance the organisation’s brand through networking events and market knowledge development
  • Develop close working relationships with internal senior business stakeholders, acting as an advisor to senior business stakeholders on all talent acquisition matters

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of solid experience in hands-on recruitment in the professional services sectors, either in-house or with reputable executive search firms
  • Experience in recruiting regionally across APAC, early careers recruitment and partnering with higher learning institutions will be an added advantage
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, driven and resourceful, able to keep up with industry hiring trends
  • Goal-oriented, with demonstrated ability to meet hiring targets
  • Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to partner and communicate with business stakeholders at all levels, up to senior management
