Description:
A government agency is undertaking a digital transformation program across its service delivery. We are seeking to reimagine the way citizens interact with government and are seeking to build digital services which are customised and enable citizens to create a more personalised experience. We are seeking an API Developer to work on the modernisation project and become part of the digital services delivery team.
SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Experience in developing REST APIs
- Enterprise Java development experience
- Azure DevOps Build and release pipelines and work item management
- Experience with the Java™ Springboot framework.
- Familiarity with API hosting Infrastructure software such as NginX
- Familiarity with Docker containerisation
Initial 3 month contract till June 30th - with possible extensions
Responsibilities:
As an API Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Development of REST based API to expose functions of rego.act
- Participate and contribute to the design and implementation of new APIs
- Contributing to the development and management of the API hosting platform
- Contributing to the support of current and future API implementations
- Support skills and knowledge transfer for ACTPS development and business continuity purposes.
