Responsibilities:
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Āpiha Whakauru - Admission and Enrolment Adviser to join our Student Operations team within Tītoko on a 12 month fixed-term basis. The role will be responsible for processing admission applications and supporting the enrolment process. The Āpiha Whakauru - Admission and Enrolment Adviser is an expert in University entry requirements, degree programmes and pathways for assigned portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective and efficient processing of applications, including collaborating with other teams across the University as required.
- Determine an applicant’s eligibility to the University and to their selected qualification.
- Make an admission decision or recommendation and ensure applicants who do not meeting the criteria are supported to find the appropriate pathway.
- Exercise judgement and initiative in the resolution of issues arising out of the application, admission and offer process.
- Build and maintain knowledge of the education systems of the University’s key markets and have the ability to research qualifications offered internationally.
