Spry Methods, Inc. seeks Application Developer .NET in McLean, VA:
Job Duties: Provide guidance and structure for creating and maintaining software infrastructure. Develop, test and deploy code (primarily using MS visual Studio in .NET and C# environment) with an emphasis on both front-end methodologies and server-side programing. Design and develop web services components for cross-application solutions. Interact with system designers and provide feedback on design modules. Perform testing on developed code (initial and regression). Coordinate and prioritize application modifications and bug fixes. Participate and contribute to a team approach to software development and problem solving using Agile/Scrum practices. Work well as part of a development team including across System and Business Analyst teams as well as other development teams. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Microsoft .NET; (2) ASP.NET; (3) Object Relational Mapping (ORM) (4) Restful WEB API; (5) SQL; (6) JavaScript; (7) HTML, XHTML, and HTML5; (8) Source code management Tools; (9) jQuery; and (10) AJAX. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
