• You will initiate and lead application engineering projects with new or existing film products and/ or new applications in close cooperation with the Commercial Operations organization
• You are responsible for coordinating technical activities in close coordination with Research & Development and Product Management according to the product and segment strategies
• You will also provide technical support for customers and partners along the process and value chain
• You are also responsible for scouting and benchmarking new technologies in the film processing industry and for protecting your own developments with patents
• You identify future trends in the film market, exchange ideas with the other regions about new applications and technologies and support the transfer
• Finally, you conduct product and application training and take part in trade fairs and conference
