ROLE SUMMARY

The Application Engineer has overall responsibility for the provision of application engineering services to the Services & Solutions business unit and will prepare quotations and ensure that good engineering practices and procedures are applied in the pre-order and order placement phases.

YOUR ROLE

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office. In this position you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

• Provide general applications engineering and quotations support to internal and external clients, including follow-up assistance on quotations and orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain the information needed to provide comprehensive quotations.
• Review, evaluate and clarify customer inquiries and technical specifications.
• Prepare ordering documents at time of order entry.
• Support other departments in resolving any order-related issues.
• Identify technical factors in customer inquiries that may affect cost, delivery, and ability to conform.
