QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred Master’s Degree
  • 7 years Relevant work experience Required
  • 7 year’s Experience working with software design, programming, implementation, and support. Preferred
  • Experience developing HL7 Interfaces Preferred
  • other forms of healthcare application integration Preferred
  • 3 years Experience with the InterSystems HealthShare Development Platform including HL7 and HIE development. Preferred
  • 2 years Experience with developing Interfaces/integration solutions, and using/customizing Epic APIs for Epic Bridges, InterConnect, and Epic Applications Preferred
  • EPIC Bridges Certification - EPIC

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, test, and implement application integration solutions that meet the business needs of the customer.
  • Provide and oversee unit/connectivity/stress/bulk testing of application integration solutions.
  • Take a leading role in Engineer support/repair of application integration solutions.
  • Help establish standards and processes for application integration development and maintenance; gain agreement/consensus; document and maintain those standards.
  • Develop and oversee project plans for upgrades, patches and changes to the Enterprise Integration Platform software with reference to the impact on current installations and other on-going projects or implementation activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with software/tools vendors in order to receive first-hand information on upgrades, patches, or releases.
  • Act as a point of contact for problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with Architects and implement new solutions to changing business needs as required in the field of integration.
  • Provide job and tool specific training; mentors new team members, especially new engineers joining the team.
  • Stay current with healthcare technology, applications, and related integration innovations and brings new ideas for enhancing the team’s offerings for discussion and evaluation.
