Responsibilities:
The responsibility of Application Management covers the whole life cycle of a business application. It offers Uniper top-quality support for business applications with different levels of criticality (from low to very high), making sure they operate smoothly and are compliant, dependable and secure.
As Application Manager, you will join our team and use your excellent cloud technical and communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders. Uniper has a vision of evolving the application manager position into a more DevOps Engineer role in the future. If you are willing to adapt to the role or see yourself as a DevOps engineer, that would be equally appropriate.
- Responsible for the integrated, consistent, reliable and cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet customer and business expectations and agreements
- Work with Uniper’s IT internal and external suppliers in the lifecycle management process, to ensure the stability of related IT applications and infrastructure
- Liaise directly with the Uniper business to understand service requirements and ensure strong relationship management with stakeholders
- Aptitude to understand impact of changes from a technical and business point of view
- Develop and maintain automation platforms
- Coordinate solution delivery alongside agile sprints and over the full life cycle
- Collaborate with other areas on digitalization and automation
- Quality assurance of delivery, test preparation and execution including UAT support and operational enablement
